Cameron Park is a scenic, family-oriented unincorporated community in El Dorado County. located in the Sierra Nevada foothills just East of El Dorado Hills, it is roughly 30 miles east of Sacramento and 70 miles west of South Lake Tahoe along U.S. Highway 50. As of 2026, the community has an estimated population of around 17,000 to 18,000 residents and is highly regarded for its balance of rural, small town charm and suburban convenience.
